The Marbles model

Not a clinic. Not a gym.

Marbles is more than a cutting-edge brain gym. It is a complete brain health ecosystem, and Searcy is where it was built.

Tailored programs

Personalised brain and body workouts for adults aged 55 and over, addressing physical and cognitive ability together rather than one at a time.

The dual-task approach

Simultaneous cognitive and motor training. Thinking while moving is harder than either alone, and that is exactly why it works.

High-tech, high-touch

Advanced training technology in the room, and a coach beside you the whole time. Neither one on its own is the method.

Why it works

We are not a theory.

Every program at Marbles is built on peer-reviewed research and proven methodology. Real science, real results.

01

Evidence-based

Dual-task exercises that target brain and body health at once, drawn from published neuroscience and longevity research.

02

Cutting-edge technology

Advanced exergaming systems that make a hard cognitive workout feel like a game rather than a test.

03

Holistic approach

Training the whole person, mind and body together, to protect cognitive ability rather than react to its loss.

Who we help

Four reasons people walk in.

Most members recognise themselves in one of these before they recognise a program.

Staying sharp and strong on purpose, rather than waiting to lose either.

Names that will not come, a room entered for a forgotten reason, a mind that tires early.

Physical therapy has ended, but going straight back to an ordinary gym feels like too big a step.

Parkinson’s, MCI, post-stroke recovery and similar, trained for with care rather than avoided.

What changes

A place to take back your health, confidence and independence.

Members rarely describe the results as fitness. They describe them as ordinary life getting easier.

Steadier on your feet

Balance and coordination that hold up on stairs, on kerbs, and on uneven ground.

Sharper recall

Names, lists and directions coming back faster and staying longer.

Real-world strength

Getting up from the floor, carrying shopping, lifting a grandchild without thinking about it.

Faster processing

Reacting sooner, in conversation and in traffic.

Confidence

Doing the things that had quietly been dropped because they felt risky.

Independence

Staying in charge of your own days, which is what all of the above is really for.

What we run

Six ways to train here.

Every one of them works the brain and the body together. Which one suits you is settled on your first visit, not before it.

The signature session, and the one almost everybody starts with. An hour that shows you what dual-task training actually feels like and which program fits.

Exercises that challenge the mind while the body is working. Harder than either on its own, which is the entire point.

Training built to reduce fall risk and rebuild stability, for anyone who has started thinking twice about stairs or uneven ground.

For the gap after physical therapy ends. Somewhere to keep the progress going that is not an ordinary gym.

Specialised training for neurological conditions, including Parkinson’s, MCI and post-stroke recovery.

Targeted work for recall and mental clarity, for the days when names will not come and the mind tires early.

Start here

The Brain Body Jump Start.

Supercharge your brain, think faster and better, and reduce your risk of cognitive decline while improving strength, balance and endurance.

It is the programme almost everybody begins with. A short, guided introduction to dual-task training that shows you what the method feels like before you commit to anything longer.

The studio

Purpose-built, and nothing like a gym.

Reaction walls, cognitive screens and open floor space, laid out so a coach can see everybody at once. No mirrors, no queues for machines, and never anybody here you have to keep up with.

Your first visit

Nothing to prepare, and nothing to prove.

The first session is a workout, not a sales meeting. It is complimentary, it takes about an hour, and it ends with a clear answer about which program suits you.

We find the program that fits you

Coaches modify every exercise to match what you can do now, then progress it as you improve. You are never asked to keep up with anybody else.

For operators

This is also where the franchise starts.

Searcy is the headquarters of Marbles Brain + Body Fitness. If you are looking at opening a brain gym rather than joining one, this is the door.

Common questions

The things people ask before they come in.

Brain-body fitness combines cognitive exercises with physical movement to improve both mental sharpness and physical strength simultaneously. Our dual-task training challenges your brain while strengthening your body, leading to better balance, coordination, memory and overall quality of life.

Marbles is designed for adults of all ages who want to stay sharp, strong and independent. We especially help active adults 55+, those experiencing memory changes or brain fog, people transitioning from physical therapy, and individuals living with neurological conditions like Parkinson’s or MCI.
No. We meet you where you are. Our programs are designed to be accessible for all fitness levels. Our certified coaches modify exercises to match your current abilities and gradually progress as you improve.

We work with members who have various health conditions including Parkinson’s, MCI, dementia, post-stroke recovery and more. During your first workout we identify any considerations, and we can coordinate with your healthcare providers to ensure safe, effective training.

Absolutely. All our coaches are certified in older adult fitness and have specialized training in cognitive health, balance and neurological conditions. They undergo continuous education to stay current with the latest research and techniques.

Three programmes run here, from small group sessions through to one to one coaching, and there are class passes if a membership is not what you want. The tour and the first workout are complimentary, so none of it applies until you have tried the method. Full pricing is on the programmes page.
